Welcome to Ovation on Cape San Blas

Welcome to the community of Ovation, located on the St. Joseph Peninsula just north of Cape San Blas. The community includes 119 home sites that stretch from St. Joseph Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. Residents have access to the beautiful white sandy beach on the gulf side and to the unique marsh environment on the bayside.

The gulf side features a pool and beach walkover areas. You will catch some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever see on this side. Sea turtles also nest here from May 1 to October 31, and you will most likely see turtle nests clearly marked by the Florida Coastal Conservancy (FCC), also known as the Turtle Patrol. These nests are highly protected. You may get lucky and observe a turtle returning to the beach to lay her eggs, or hatchlings heading to the sea.

The bayside amenities feature a large infinity pool and deck, exercise room, tennis/pickleball courts, fire pit, and an owner's exclusive clubhouse. Catch the dawn's first light on this side from one of the two piers that reach out into St. Joseph Bay. The bay is perfect for kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing. You can see deer, a variety of birds, bobcats and various aquatic animals on the bayside.

TH Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, situated a mile north, is recovering from Hurricane Michael (2018) and has some of the highest sand dunes on the coast of the continental United States. The park features beach and bay access, a campground, cabins, and a boat launch at Eagle Harbor.

Ovation collaborates with FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) and the USFWS (US Fish & Wildlife Service) to maintain three Conservation Easement areas for the endangered St. Andrew Beach Mouse (SABM).
